Our Reptiles

TURTLE:

Tina is a yellow-bellied slider turtle with spinal damage and partial paralysis. She is considered non-releasable native wildlife and will not be able to live a natural life in the wild so she came to live permanently on our farm. Tina can make educational visits if requested.

TORTOISE:

Oswald is an African-Spurred Tortoise (Sulcata) who currently weighs <30lbs. Oswald has been passed from home to home as he grew quickly and now is a permanent resident of our farm. Oswald can make educational visits if requested.

Oswald's first day, we were told he was a girl so he was named Penelope at first.

Oswald didn't seem to be doing well since his arrival so off to the vet we went!

Oswald is enjoying some fresh air in his outdoor habitat.

BEARDED DRAGON:

Beatrice is a bearded dragon we welcomed when she needed a new home when her owner needed to move. Beatrice is calm and sweet and loves to explore. Our youngest, Maggie, has taken an extra special liking to her! Beatrice can make educational visits if requested.

Maggie and "her" lizard Beatrice!
